            Pros

            Cons

Dermatophytosis or tinea, better known as ringworm is a fungal infection that affects the skin. While its name is misleading, this condition is actually caused by a fungus and not a worm under the skin. Manifesting as red patches on the skin, this infection does spread to various parts of the body, such as the scalp and feet. There are three different types of fungus that causes ringworm, namely; Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton. While generally harmless, this infection can turn into something painful when not seen to. This is a review for Manu Ringworm Natural Products, a pack consisting of a soap, cream, and oil – which claims to soothe and reduce the effects of ringworm on the skin.

What’s in Manu Ringworm Natural Products?

            • East Cape Manuka Oil – antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties, helps fight bacteria.
            • Lemon Myrtle Oil – similar to tea tree oil, has cleansing properties.
            • Lavender Oil – derived from the lavender plant, good for burns, cuts and has disinfectant properties.

We were unable to find any more specific information about the active and inactive ingredients in these products. Although, the above-mentioned ingredients were listed in descriptions on the manufacturer’s website.

How Do You Use Manu Ringworm Natural Products?

After researching this product we were unable to find any directions online. If you purchase this product pack, the manufacturer does claim to provide a direction guide, but it is unclear how you would use the cream, oil, and soap.

            The Cost

Currently, the price for this ringworm pack is $59.93 directly from the manufacturer’s website. If you would like to purchase these products separately, it would cost $21.95 for the 25% manuka oil, $29.95 for the cream and $9.95 for the soap – so it would seem that the package offer is slightly cheaper when bought as a unit.

            Is There a Guarantee?

After researching the manufacturer’s website we did come across a returns policy. This stated that if you, the customer, are unhappy with the products you can contact the manufacturer via mail and a refund will be processed as long as it falls within the 60 day period from the date of purchase. However, you are only able to return a single opened bottle of each product, it is unclear if you can return soaps and the return shipping fee will be the customer’s responsibility.

The Conclusion of Our Manu Ringworm Natural Products Review

In conclusion of our review for Manu Ringworm Natural Products, we liked that these ringworm soaps, oils, and creams seemed to contain some active ingredients that have been traditionally used to help manage and reduce the effects of ringworm and other skin conditions. We also appreciated that there was a returns policy in place. On the other hand, it was concerning that there was very limited information on the ingredients and the amounts that were included. We also felt that the vagueness of the returns policy left something to desire. As we were unable to identify the direction of use without first purchasing the product, we are wary of the potency and effectiveness of these products.
