            Pros

            Cons

Today we review Schiff Digestive Advantage Intensive Bowel Support.  This probiotic support not only helps relieve the gas, bloating, and other pain associated with IBS, but when taken regularly, this helps to promote a healthy gut and immune system over a long period of time.  This specific formula is supposed to be 100x better at withstanding stomach acid, which allows it to concentrate its work in the intestines.

What’s in Schiff Digestive Advantage Intensive Bowel Support?

            • Bacillus coagulans – This probiotic can withstand stomach acid to help reset the good bacteria in your gut.
            • Protease – This enzyme targets different proteins to help break them down into the amino acid state.
            • Amylase – This digestive enzyme mainly targets carbohydrates to help break them down easier.
            • Lactase – This enzyme helps to break down lactose, which is the protein found in dairy products.

How Do You Use Schiff Digestive Advantage Intensive Bowel Support?

This supplement should be taken once daily, with a meal.  Each dose consists of only one capsule. If your symptoms are more intense, you can increase the dose, but should not exceed more than three capsules per day.  When beginning this supplement, it may take 7-14 days for you to begin to feel the effects. For continued support, consistent daily use of this supplement is needed.

            The Cost

Each bottle comes with 96 capsules, which can last from one to three months, depending on the severity of your problem.  Each bottle costs $19.49. While the manufacturer does offer a point based reward system, we were unable to find any deals or discounts to help with the cost of this supplement.  Standard shipping is a flat fee of $5.99, unless you hit the minimum requirement for free shipping, which is not clearly stated on the website.

            Is There a Guarantee?

This manufacturer does not offer a guarantee on its products.  They do, however, offer a refund policy, but it is very strict.  In order to qualify for a full refund, including shipping, the product must have been delivered incorrectly.  If you decide voluntarily to return the item, you will have to pay for the return shipping and return the item unopened and undamaged.  Open products or products that are returned in an unsellable condition are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The manufacturer also reserves the right to deny any refund they deem unfit.  This makes it very difficult to return an item to this manufacturer.

The Conclusion of Our Schiff Digestive Advantage Intensive Bowel Support Review

There are a few things we liked about Schiff Digestive Advantage Intensive Bowel Support.  It does contain both a probiotic and some digestive enzymes to work in two ways at supporting your gastrointestinal health.  Also, you are able to raise and lower your dose, within reason, to help control flare ups.

Unfortunately, there are many things that raised concerns over this product.  First of all, while it does have some digestive enzymes, it is still missing some main ingredients to endure the best, proper formula to help your IBS symptoms.  Also, the manufacturer offers no discounts or deals on this product. On top of that, there is no guarantee for this supplement, and the return policy is so strict, you cannot return an opened item without incurring a penalty. For these reasons, we are unable to recommend this supplement for your stomach and GI health.
