            Pros

            Cons

Catchy title, with eco-friendly labeling, definitely draws consumer notice of this natural, over the counter product for hemorrhoid relief and anorectal health.  Tush M.D. promises to resolve hemorrhoid discomfort in only 2 days of application.  Their main objective appears to be management of constipation; it isn’t entirely clear what will happen in the 2-day window.

            Tush M.D.Ingredients

There is no comprehensive list of the ingredients for Tush M.S.  The Tush site says their product is made from all-natural products, proven safe. Bromelain, a known  indigestive aid and inflammation reducer, is the only listed ingredient.

If you are allergic to pineapple, latex, wheat, celery, papain, carrot, fennel, cypress pollen or grass pollen, steer clear of Bromelain.  The only warning the Tush M.D website posted in this regard is: “Do not use if you are allergeic to pineapples, or are taking blood thinners or anticoagulents.”  Sufficient to inspire consumer security?  We think not.

Possible side effects as listed by Tush M.D.:

            • Nausea
            • Vomiting
            • Diarrhea
            • Menorrhagia
            • Allergic reactions

The product also includes this disclaimer: “These statements (from the website) have not been evaluated by the food and drug administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.”  Ok, so what exactly, are you going to take it for?  If you’re suffering the misery of hemorrhoids, are you really in the mood to improvise or experiment? Really?

            Tush M.D.Dosage

The recommended dosage is 2-3 tablets daily for a full 30 days.  That’s a loooonnnnnggggg time to be dealing with daily hemorrhoid issues in our humble opinion.

            Tush M.D.Price

Thirty capsules, one bottle of Tush M.D. cost $34.99. With advised dosage of 2-3 pills a day, one bottle will not be enough to keep to the 30 day pledge.  And you apparently must use the product for 30 days before activating the rather circumspect Tush M.D. refund guarantee.

            Tush M.D.Guarantee

A 45-day money-back guarantee is offered for this product. with contingencies:

            • You must use the product for 30-days-e.g, more than one bottle is required;
            • The product must be returned within 45 days and
            • Since the claim is for digestive health, not relief, it is completely unclear as to what conditions of dissatisfaction must prevail to qualify properly for the refund.
            • The website says the pills need to be taken a full thirty days, and if you are not satisfied with the results, to then return the product within 45 days for a complete refund, less shipping costs. Essentially, that leaves you with a return date of fifteen days.

            Conclusion

There seems to be no promise of any relief to hemorrhoid symptoms other than constipation relief, unless you count that the bromelain is said to reduce inflammation.  Deeper research revealed that the key ingredient, Bromelain, is mostly used for nasal and sinus inflammation, not ano-rectal inflammation.

Actual consumer reviews were less than stellar, as well.r. Although it received 3.4 out of five stars on Amazon, out of five reviews, only two were positive, with the third stating the product was merely “good.” The remaining commentary  complaining that there was no change in their condition and  that the product was only effective for constipation, not for hemorrhoid relief. As it is commonly known you can purchase a standard, larger fiber supplement for constipation relief for less than $20 why spend upwards of $34?

Without a precise ingredient listing, not to mention preparation standards, Tush M.D. usage for hemorrhoid aid is ill advised.  Compared to HemClear, the leading hemorrohoid relief product on the market today, the fail by Tush M.D. is really ad.  HemClear applied natural ingredients, lists them clearly and prepares them according to FDA lab standards.  The ingredients are proven, with actual documentation, to provide hemorrhoid relief.  You know what you are getting when you purchase HemClear; not so with Tush M.D.  Buyer beware!
