            Pros

            Cons

Today we review Natrol Biotin.  These fast dissolving tablets will help restore the health and strength back to your hair, skin, and nails.  By having the quick release formula, your body will be able to absorb the B vitamin quicker into your bloodstream.

            What’s in Natrol Biotin?

These tablets contain only biotin as their main ingredient.  The manufacturer has tablets available in 1000, 5000, and 10000 mcg of this B vitamin.  We do know, however, that the clinically studied and doctor recommended daily amount of biotin is 10000 mcg per day, which shows that the lesser amounts may not be effective at helping your hair, skin, and nails grow better.

While this supplement does contain wheat, it is free of most other allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, eggs, and dairy.  Being allergy safe for the most common food allergies allows this product to be safe for consumption by almost all people.

How Do You Use Natrol Biotin?

Whichever tablet amount you choose, the dosing instructions remain the same.  One pill should be taken per day. Because they are fast dissolving tablets, no water is required.  It is not stated whether or not there is a specific time of day that this supplement should be taken or whether or not it should be taken with food.

            The Cost

Natrol does not sell its products directly to their consumers.  Therefore, you must find a third party seller in which to purchase their products.  On the manufacturer’s website, it is stated that 10000 mcg tablets are available in 60 and 120 tablet bottles, but through our research, we could only find 100 count bottles.  This disconnect of information is concerning. The third party seller that we found selling this product has 100 count bottles of the maximum strength tablets for $7.59 and two packs for $14.05.  This seller also offers a 5% discount if you chose to place this order on an auto-shipment program. There is also a coupon available on the company’s website for $2 off one of their biotin products, but if there is the discrepancy of information between the manufacturer and sellers, it may prove difficult to actually receive that discount.

            Is There a Guarantee?

We were unable to find any information regarding a manufacturer’s guarantee or refund policy on Natrol’s website. Without this information, it seems that if you are unsatisfied with this product, you will not be able to return your unwanted product and claim a refund.  This is common with manufacturers that use third party sellers to actually get their products into the hands of customers.

The Conclusion of Our Natrol Biotin Review

There are a few things we liked about Natrol Biotin.  There are multiple doses available for this product, which allow you to choose the right dose for you.  Also, because these tablets are quick dissolving, you do not need water to take them.

Unfortunately, we did find many things that concerned us in regards to this supplement.  The manufacturer does not sell this product directly to its consumers. Because of this, there were many discrepancies in the information we found.  While it was stated that only certain sizes are sold, we found different size options available for sale through the third parties. The company also does not offer a return policy or any kind of guarantee on its products.  For these reasons, we cannot recommend this supplement to help you regrow your hair, skin, and nails.
